Prayer Requests

-Continue to pray for Omaha and all the families of the fallen in the aftermath of the Von Maur massacre. Only our Lord could take such a tragedy and “mix it together with His energy” for good.

-Saturday Jan 26 I will be speaking at the Plattsmouth Bible Church Game Feed. The Pastor organizing this event said that at last years event 80% + of the men that showed up were not regular church goers. Please pray for God’s anointing and favor and all whom God would have be there, and especially those ‘white for harvest’ would attend.

-Sunday Jan 27-Wed Jan 30 I will be ministering in Orlando, FL (at a Level 1 seminar) with Al Newell & Associates (ANA) High Impact Training (which is re-establishing a Biblical paradigm of Christian service). These opportunities to speak into the lives of Christian leaders from across the country are extraordinary and humbling. Like always, we take nothing for granted. Please pray for God’s favor and anointing on every aspect of the seminar on all presenters and presentations and to bind the evil one with the authority He’s given us as Believers. Also, please pray for His perfect, Divine appointments for the whole event.

-Friday Feb 22-Sun Feb 24 I will be speaking at a Men’s Retreat in Osco, Illinois and then will speak at their Sunday Morning Church service to the whole congregation (with an emphasis on Gospel sharing on Sunday morning). Oh that we could incite all Believing men to be Godly and for those already Godly men to excel still more.

-Sat Mar 1 – Wed Mar 5 I will be ministering with ANA at a Level 2 seminar (an even more intense course for those who have already been through Level 1). The opportunities for Ministers to invite God to accompany then to an even deeper level of introspection & Divine re-focus, is again, remarkable.

-Sat 29 Mar I will be conducting a Straight Shot Evangelism Course for an expected 100-200 (comprised of both Short Term Missionary Leaders and members from the congregation) people from Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch Colorado. May all who have “forgotten their purification from their former sins” be inspired to return to the truth of the Gospel and may all present be incited to “live lives worthy of the Gospel” and especially become active in sharing the Gospel.
-Sat 12 April- Wed 16 April, I will be ministering with the ANA team for another Level 1 seminar in Hickory, NC.

-Sat 23 Aug –Wed 27 Aug, I will be ministering with the ANA team at a Level 2 seminar in Hickory, NC

-Sat 11 Oct- I’ll be conducting an abridged Straight Shot Evangelism Course (in two breakout sessions) for Stonecroft Ministries (you prayed this opportunity in) at their Women’s Conference in Kansas City, Chazown 08.

-Additionally, I have two possible/probable contracts pending for out of the country (Africa & Asia) opportunities to share the High Impact Training (tentatively scheduled for June and the other some time this Fall).

-As I mentioned in the last prayer letter, Jacki & I would covet your prayers as I embark upon retirement (Dec 08) scale down and make many decisions (regarding moving in or out of state or not) hence, when to sell, what, where to buy (you get the idea) and we just long to hear from the Lord on each and every decision and to make decisions that would please Him.

-With many of the aforementioned events, I find myself praying and fasting, often for a day, begging the Lord for clarity and anointing. I know that you’re upholding our ministry in prayer but if you think that you may like to join me in fasting for any (all) of these events, please let me know.

-I would remind you that this schedule always backfills. I totally rely on your prayers for the Lord to sort out which events and opportunities for me to take on. Also, I spend an appreciable amount of time every month both counseling and consulting. Pray that I would remain silent before I would ever give anything less than His perfect counsel or advice. Oh, how I beg Him for a heart of wisdom.

-Please pray for Jacki and me and our extended family and for health, safety and sanctified lives and marriages for all with our eyes riveted on Jesus.

-Lastly, I remind you of the many plane rides and wonderful opportunities to share Christ on the plane and in the airports. Please pray that I would pay perfect attention to the Holy Spirit and that I would never run ahead or lag behind but would make the most of every opportunity.
